Overweight

Eat more natural foods. Eat less refined, engineered food. Really cut back on animal products.

Ideal Weight ( in lbs )

Women: 5 feet = 100 lbs; each inch above 5 ft = 5 lbs
Men: 5 feet = 100 lbs; each inch above 5 ft = 6 lbs


for small frame subtract 5%; for large frame add 5%

OBESITY- being 20% or more above ideal weight
OVERWEIGHT - being 10-19% above ideal weight


Risks

Every pound of excess weight shaves off one month of life.
10% overweight results in 30% increase in heart disease ( men, 35-55 years)
